GNOME
This project required me to create an animated film poster. We were briefed with 4 short movies in a lecture to watch, out of these 4 movies we had to choose one to create an animated poster for. Since this was in my first year of university, i was brand new to working with animation in my work, at that current point I was only confident in using stop frame animation in photoshop but it worked very well with the final outcome.

The director of this short film is Sacha Goedegebure. He has created four short films all with the same kind of animation. His kind of short films consists of comedy and in this instance for Gnome it is pretty messed up and dark as to what happens in the short movie. This short movie came out in 2016 so it is pretty recent and the animation looks modern anyway. I believe that is why it looks so attractive. This short film won an award for the BEST SHORT SHORT FILM AWARD (for films under five minutes) in the FILMSshort competition. The moral of the story of this short film is that no good deed goes unpunished.
